PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- A Perry County woman is in jail on charges she threatened a person with a handgun in a roadside confrontation.
According to the Perry County Sheriff's Department, 38-year-old Connie S. Pritchard was arrested around 7 a.m. Tuesday after the sheriff's department received a report of shots fired on Route T west of Perryville.
Police say Pritchard's grandson had an argument with another person Monday night, and Pritchard confronted that person on the highway, drew a 9 mm pistol, threatened the person and fired the gun into the air. The person Pritchard allegedly threatened fled with friends.
