This past year has been a sad one for Mrs. C, but she is determined to retain a positive outlook on life.

This year her last living relative, a sister, died. Now Mrs. C, in her 80s, is alone.

She makes up for the emptiness in her life by spending time at her church. But with the holiday season approaching, Mrs. C is beginning to feel very lonely.

Mrs. C lives in a small home which she keeps immaculate, but she is very worried this winter about paying her heating bills.

She has hypertension and arthritis and often doesn't feel well. But she puts the pain aside in the summer to grow vegetables in a garden. Mrs. C cans the vegetables, which she eats year round.

A few Christmas gifts would make the holidays a lot brighter for Mrs. C, and would remind her that people do care.

Mrs. C would like a stylish, new dress to wear to church. She would like a dress with long sleeves or a jacket, size 18. She also needs a new warm robe and flannel nightgown.

Mrs. C would also like a gift certificate for a hair cut or permanent so she can look nice when she attends church.

Mrs. C hasn't spent money on household items in many years. She is in need of new flannel sheets for her queen-size bed, also a warm blanket or comforter. She also needs new bath towels and would prefer white ones.
