Greg and Jean Dickey went to southern Siberia in September as part of an International School Project conference. The Dickeys, retired university instructors, served as small group leaders for the teacher conference. They first attended the education convocations last year.

The International School Project was started about five years ago by 80 organizations like Campus Crusade for Christ and Navigators with the help of the Russian government.

Its goal is to provide a Christian, morally based curriculum in the schools. About 450 teachers attended the four-day meetings in Siberia, Greg Dickey said.
