WILKES MARK GOLDEN EVENT

Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Wilke of Cape Girardeau recently observed their 50th wedding anniversary with a celebration at Trinity Lutheran School Assembly Room.

Hosts were their children and spouses, Veronica and Larry Prost, Paulette and Bob Williams, Michael and Janean Wilke, and Allen and Kim Wilke.

Wilke and Alberta Faye Biester were married March 4, 1951, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Tilsit, Mo., by the late Rev. H.J. Strickert. She is the daughter of the late Henry and Faye Biester. Wilke is the son of the late Herbert and Alma Wilke.

Their attendants were Millicent Biester, Jerry Wilke, Ellodean Philipps, Carl Southard, Patsy Hauenschild, Barrett Philipps, Joan Philipps and Byran Fluegge.

The Wilkes have 12 grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, and a great-stepgrandchild.
