Sadler, also of St. Louis, has won awards for several migratory bird stamps and has taught workshops in Sikeston and in his studio. He describes himself as "conscious of birds' and animals' needs in the wild, so I paint them in settings of their choice."

Holmes, who resides in Des Peres, retired from his career as a cartographic engineer to pursue his early art endeavors. His acrylic paintings record the freedom of wildlife in its natural setting, the solitude of the wilderness, lakes and streams of North America, the active river traffic on the Mississippi and the intrigue of the Ozark area of Missouri, he said.

Gallery 100 is sponsored by Southeast Missouri Council on the Arts, and receives financial assistance from the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency.
