Works by internationally-known artist Cleda Curtis-Neal will be featured in August at Gallery 100 in Cape Girardeau.
Curtis-Neal is the author of "Portrait Painting Simplified" as well as a video teaching tape of the same name. She has been a commissioned portrait painter for 22 years. Her works hand in public and private collections in the United States, Germany, England, Canada, Kuwait and the Sudan in Africa.
During the past five years she has been creating floral and wildlife paintings, which are now in limited edition prints.
Curtis-Neal, of Oran, conducts weekly portrait painting workshops at her studio for children and adults.
The exhibit will open Sunday with a reception for the artist from 2-4 p.m. The public is invited to attend at no charge.
Gallery 100 is located at 100 Broadway. Regular gallery hours are weekdays from 2-4 p.m.
