WIEGAND RECEIVES DEGREE, FOLLOWING STUDY IN WALES

Robin Wiegand of Jackson was a spring graduate of Southeast Missouri State University.

She recently received a $1,000 Midwest Office Study Abroad Scholarship to help cover the costs of her participation in an eight-week study in Wales during the spring semester. Wiegand was one of 10 Southeast students who completed the second half of their capstone professional internship experiences as student teachers in elementary school in Swansea.

She will begin teaching this fall in a new pre-kindergarten program in Sikeston called "Jump Start."
