Unique point: "We have the Massey house, a historic log cabin that is open for tours during the summer months," says Deputy City Clerk Gayle Abernathy.

Jean Brown: "It's quiet, peaceful and a nice place to live. You see everybody just about every day. My husband and I moved here from St. Louis about 18 years ago."

Bill Choate: "People will take time out of their day to talk to you. I grew up here and moved away, but I came back because I had a lot of friends and family here."

Marilyn Baker: "We like the atmosphere of the smaller school system that's better for our children. It's a slower pace, and we like seeing our friends every day."

Dale Bollinger: "I was born here and like the people. It's a friendly town. A lot of people I knew in high school have moved back after living other places."
