An accident Sunday involving four Jackson teenagers is still under investigation, Capt. Bob Bonney said Tuesday.
The teenagers, riding in a Chevrolet Geo Tracker, were traveling south on U.S. 61 just after midnight when the driver left the road, traveled the ditch for a short time and rolled the vehicle.
Three of the teenagers were taken to an area hospital. Bonney didn't confirm that they attended Jackson High School, but he said one of the people involved was a juvenile and the remaining three were either 17 or 18 years old.
Two of the teenagers remained in serious condition Tuesday afternoon.
The names of those involved couldn't be released, Bonney said, because police are still looking into the circumstances of the accident.
"I'm not going to reveal anything we're investigating," he said.
Additionally, Bonney said he could release more information after investigators speak with the teenagers involved.
