Sunday Dawn Allen and Matthew John Unger exchanged vows March 24, 2001, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson, Mo. The Rev. David Johnson performed the double ring ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Bobby and Wanda Allen of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Bill and Janice Unger of Jackson.

Stephanie Roberts of Cape Girardeau was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Korie Allen of Las Cruces, N.M., sister-in-law of the bride, and Wendy Unsbee of Cape Girardeau.

Best man was Robert Suchman of St. Louis. Groomsmen were Robert Stephens of Nevada, Mo., and Bobby Allen of Las Cruces, brother of the bride. Ushers and candlelighters were Mark Unger of Jackson and Michael Unger of Kansas City, Mo., brothers of the groom.

Flower girl and ringbearer were Anne Marie and Benjamin Unger, children of Mark and Becky Unger and niece and nephew of the groom.

Katie Campana and Anne Voepel attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Drury Lodge.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner March 16 at Port Cape.

Mrs. Unger is a 1993 graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in child development from Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed by state of Missouri as a caseworker with Division of Family Services.

The groom is a 1990 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in education from Missouri Southern State College, and a master's degree in education administration from Southeast University. He is an assistant middle school principal at Gasconade County R-11 Schools.

The couple resides in Owensville, Mo.
