"As part of the standard quarterly water quality testing required by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, a hydrant near the 400 block of South Kingshighway has been open allowing water to flow. It should be shut off by the afternoon of Nov. 18. The Cape Girardeau Fire Department is experiencing a heavy call volume on this issue and is directing residents to the city's water division (573-334-6747) for more information."
