The Salvation Army's "Toy Town" program will be the recipient of a percentage of the Walmart sales from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday at the Cape Girardeau store, 3439 William.

"We're pleased to provide this additional support for the Toy Town program," said Terry Godwin, manager of the local Walmart store. "We have a continuing emphasis to support our community and a commitment to caring and sharing throughout the year.

The Salvation Army, selected by associates at the store level, will also receive funds raised through fund-raising events at the store this week.
