Comedian and actor George Wallace is scheduled to appear at Southeast Missouri State Oct. 28 at 8 p.m. in Academic Hall.
Wallace was most recently seen starring in his own sitcom for CBS-TV titled "Tall Hopes." His other acting credits include the feature films "A Rage in Harlem," "Punchline", "Bert Rigby You're a Fool" and "Working Trash."
He has had his own HBO "One Night Stand" and is also a regular on "The Arsenio Hall Show," "The Tonight Show" and "Late Night With David Letterman."
Wallace derives his comedy from everyday, simple sharing moments of life. He finds humor everywhere he turns, from the media, relationships to dialogue cliches.
Among his peers Wallace is known as "the guy who can roll the room over if it's dead."
