WALKATHON SCHEDULED

The Town and Country FCE Club will sponsor the fourth annual Leukemia Walk-A-Thon Saturday, May 6 from 10 to noon at Cape Girardeau County Park North. Shelter 8 is the check-in point.

Sponsor forms may be obtained at Cape County Park, University of Missouri Extension Office in Jackson or by calling 243-5570. Walkers are needed for this worthy organization. All funds generated from the Walk-A-Thon support the Leukemia Society's research efforts and local patient assistance programs for those with leukemia.

Refreshments will be served following the walk-a-thon. Participants will be rewarded with prizes, depending on how much money is raised. Among the incentives are visors, T-shirts, barrel bags, AM/FM stereo cassette with headphones, and all weather underwater camera.
