Saturday is the second time volunteers are being invited to help clear Jackson's City Park of ice storm debris.
Mayor Barbara Lohr said she plans to be at the park at 9 a.m.
February's storms, she said, left more debris than could be cleared on the city's annual park cleaning date, which this year is April 26.
On Saturday, city employees are volunteering to operate chain saws to cut large limbs into smaller pieces. Volunteers must bring their own gloves and can work at their own pace to haul the debris to curbs.
Cleanup volunteers will meet at 9 a.m. at the Jackson City Pool parking lot. Lohr said the city will host another volunteer day at the park on March 29. For more information, call Jackson Parks and Recreation at 204-8848.
