Tenor Christopher Goeke, an instructor of voice and opera in Southeast Missouri State University's music department, will present a voice recital at 7:30 tonight in Old St. Vincent's Church.
John Shelton, professor of piano at Southeast, will serve as accompanist.
Works to be performed include selections from "Les Nuits d'Ete" by Hector Berlioz, the seven "Gypsy Songs" of Antonin Dvorak and songs by Duke, Griffes, Thomson and Barber.
Also assisting Goeke will be Lori Shaffer, a soprano, who will perform music from the opera "L'Elisir d'Amore" by Donizetti. Shaffer appears regularly in concert and teaches voice in Cape Girardeau.
The concert is free and open to the public.
