VO-TECH SCHOOL IS OFFERING COMPUTER CAMP

The Cape Girardeau Area Vocational-Technical School will offer a computer camp for students entering grades 7, 8 and 9.

The camp will be held Aug. 3-14 from 8 a.m. to noon each day.

Students will learn how to use IBM personal computers and some beginning DOS. Most of the time will be spent learning how to write simple programs using the BASIC programming language.

Students should be familiar with computers and have strong math skills.
