VINTAGE FASHION SHOW APRIL 24

Women for Health and Wellness Inc. will sponsor a vintage fashion show and brunch April 24 at Carbondale Civic Center in Carbondale, Ill.

The event, called Treasures in Time, will feature an elegant style show of clothing dating to the early 1800s, a brunch and musical entertainment.

Clothing provided by families with roots in communities from Chicago to Cairo includes formal attire worn to inaugural balls, a complete Flapper era outfit, wedding gowns from the 1880s to 1990s, vintage undergarments dating to 1865 and a variety of hats.
