Country music stars Vince Gill and Patty Loveless will perform Saturday, Sept. 30 at the Show Me Center.

Loveless is a country torch singer whose "Blame It on Your Heart" and "How Can I Help You Say Goodbye" were highlights of her first album. Her latest, "When Fallen Angels Fly," already has produced the hit "I Try to Think About Elvis."

The 7:30 p.m. event is part of Southeast Missouri State University's Family Weekend activities. Some tickets already have been sold to the families of Southeast students.

Tickets will go on sale Saturday at the Show Me Center box office, Disc Jockey Records in Cape Girardeau, Carbondale and Paducah, and Capital Banks in Sikeston, Poplar Bluff, Perryville and Jackson.
