Hickman principal Mike Jeffers said he's concerned about the incident and regrets what happened to a student who tried to help after two other girls began fighting. That girl said she was thrown across the floor and handcuffed.

The Columbia Daily Tribune said the video also shows Brotemarkle throwing another girl down when she tried to get up from the floor.

Columbia's interim police chief, Tom Dresner, issued a statement Friday asking the public to await a full investigation before reaching conclusions about the incident.
