VICTORIAN MOVES, HAS NEW NAME; NOW IN JCPENNEY CORRIDOR OF MALL

Victorian Memories has changed locations at West Park Mall.

The business, which opened as Victorian Holidays in a small space down the Venture corridor, has reopened as Victorian Memories in a 3,000-square-foot area along the JCPenney corridor.

"We have added a line of Victorian reproduction furniture," said Cecelia Gerecke, owner of the business. "We have oak tables, chairs and china cabinets now, and will be adding living-room and parlor furniture in the future."

The shop specializes in Yankee brand candles, said Gerecke.

Also available are crystal jars, framed and unframed Victorian art, calendars, lithographs and Victorian transfers for sweatshirts.

"We also have a special `refillable' body and bath line, said Gerecke. "This is a popular line with environmental interests. People can select a size and scent of shower jel and, or, hand and body lotion they like, and the containers don't have to be tossed. They can be refilled at a savings."

The business is open during mall business hours, 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays.
