VFW AUXILIARY LEADER ATTENDS NATIONAL MEETING

Past National President Glenneta Vogelsang of Cape Girardeau attended the 1994 National Mid-Year Conference of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wards.

The conference was held March 25-27 in San Diego, Calif.

Vogelsang is a member of the Clippard, Wilson, Taylor Auxiliary 3838.

About 400 members attended the conference to see humorist Jerry Clower honored with the Better World Award, hear reports on the mid-year progress of the organization's 14 community service programs and to hear a message from VFW Commander-in-Chief George R. Cramer of Woodridge, Ill.
