Patricia Crossno of Cape Girardeau was elected to the Cape Girardeau Missouri Veterans Home Assistance League, replacing Harland Siebert of Jackson.
The seven-member Assistance League supervises the spending of all monies donated to the Veterans Home.
Crossno was active as a military wife, holding office in NCO Wives and CPO clubs, Navy Relief and as a Red Cross, VA Hospital and base clinic volunteer.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Gardiner, Maine, and has been active in the VFW Auxiliary Unit 3838 since moving to Cape Girardeau in 1974. Crossno served as president for three years and one year as district president. She currently serves as legislative chairman at the local and district auxiliary levels.
At the regular quarterly Assistance League meeting, C. Mack Estes was elected president for 1993, Max Stovall will serve as vice-president, Cleo Mabrey as treasurer and Glenneta Vogelsang as secretary. Jess Hopple also serves on the Assistance League board.
