BRANSON, Mo. (AP) -- A new Veterans Administration mental health clinic is opening next month in Branson.
Sen. Kit Bond and Congressman Roy Blunt announced that the facility will be open by the end of September. The VA expects the clinic to serve 900 existing patients and 3,900 new patients.
The Branson clinic will save patients from traveling to Mount Vernon or Fayetteville, Ark., to see a Veterans Administration doctor.
Initially, the 2,400-square foot clinic will house two primary care teams and mental health services.
