VETERANS DAY EVENT SATURDAY
The Cape Girardeau Veterans Day ceremony will be held Saturday, Nov. 12, at 2 p.m. in the Capaha Park band shell. A short comment from the master of ceremonies on the history of Veterans Day observance in the United States will follow.
Representatives of major U.S. conflicts will be introduced.
The Municipal Band will play "Stars And Stripes Forever." Then the master of ceremonies will introduce guest speaker Al Lowes.
Cowsert will ask the audience to sing "America The Beautiful" with her. Cowsert will also sing "God Bless America."
