Utility: Less than 400 without power following Tuesday storms

STE. GENEVIEVE, Mo. -- Less than 400 members of Citizens Electric remained without power Thursday morning, according to a news release sent out by the cooperative.

Power outages are primarily concentrated in the McBride, Belguique, Menfro, Crosstown, Parker Lake and Port Perry areas of Perry County.

Following Tuesday's storms as many as 5,126 Citizens customers were without power. Power probably won't be fully restored in areas of Perry County along the Mississippi River until Friday, the news release said.
