U.S. 62 in Mississippi, Scott counties reduced for shoulder sealing

SIKESTON, Mo. -- U.S. 62 in Mississippi and Scott counties will be reduced to one lane Monday, allowing Missouri Department of Transportation crews to seal the shoulders. This section of highway is from Interstate 55 at Sikeston to Route B at Bertrand, Mo.

Weather permitting, the work will be done from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
