GRAYRIDGE, Mo. -- A portion of U.S. 60 was blocked when a truck overturned and spilled fuel.
At 9:18 p.m. Tuesday, Joseph W. Odom, 37, of Lynchburg, Va., was driving westbound on U.S. 60, one-half mile east of Grayridge, when his vehicle ran off the roadway. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Odom's tractor-trailer struck a guardrail and ended up blocking the westbound lanes.
The rig's fuel tanks ruptured and approximately 30 feet of guardrail was damaged.
No information was available on the driver's injuries.
