SIKESTON, Mo. -- Work to replace a fourth bridge on U.S. 60 in Stoddard County is expected to begin Sept. 26, weather permitting. As construction is underway, traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Highway 51 to U.S. 61 as necessary. Additionally, a 16-foot width restriction will be in place. Completion of the bridge over Lateral Ditch No. 2 is anticipated in late November. Signs and warning devices will be in place as work continues.
