Unterreiner files for 145th District, vows not to accept special interest money

Chad Unterreiner of Perryville, Missouri, has filed as a Republican to seek election to the 145th District, the seat held by state Rep. Shelley Keeney-Taylor.

“Growing up, I learned how to take a stand on principle, defend the values I believe in and to uphold my morals and ideals,” Unterreiner said. “Today, I have an opportunity to take a stand for the people of the 145th district. I am running for state representative for Bollinger, Madison and Perry counties.”

Unterreiner said he wants to maintain the faith, family and conservative values of the district: the right to bear arms, life beginning at conception, solutions to better fund schools, offer students the best opportunity at a quality education and limit the control of government on small businesses.

“My experiences have made me uniquely suited to fill this role while providing a depth of opportunities to build relationships with my potential constituents,” he said. “I have been an educator, a coach, and a coordinator for the Perry Park Center. I have an understanding of and appreciation for educators, students, and the community. In addition, I have worked in our family owned business (Park Et) which helps me to identify with the issues facing business and business owners.”

Unterreiner said he does not accept political contributions from any special-interest groups.

“It is my vow to be a voice of common-sense leadership in Jefferson City,” he said.
