The Southeast Missouri State University Board of Regents will hold a closed-door meeting Monday in the wake of Dr. Kala Stroup's decision to resign as university president.
Stroup will become Missouri's higher education commissioner in September. She will leave Southeast in late August.
The regents have said they plan to appoint an interim president soon and then decide on how to proceed with a search for a new president.
Monday's meeting will be at 10 a.m. in the Riverboat Room of the University Center. The only item on the agenda is a motion to go into closed session to discuss personnel matters. The issue of an interim president is expected to be discussed, the regents said.
