UNIVERSITY OFFERS REAL ESTATE APPRAISAL COURSES

The Southeast Missouri State University Office of Economic Development will be offering courses designed to partially fulfill requirements for real estate appraisal certification.

"Foundations of Real Estate Appraisal" is a 30-hour course which will be held at the Bootheel Education Center in Malden May 21, 22, 28 and 29. The course provides an overview of the appraisal process, valuation methods need to appraise real estate and principles of market analysis. Cost of the course is $385 which includes all materials and refreshments.

"Appraising the Single Family Residence" course will beheld at the University Center on Southeast Missouri State University campus June 22, 23, 29 and 30. Cost of the course is $385 which includes all materials and refreshments.

Linda Blake, a certified instructor of the Missouri Real Estate Appraisers Commission, will teach the courses.
