Ryan Kasten, a freshman music major at Southeast Missouri State University, will present an organ recital Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Broadway and Lorimier.

He will present works of Buxtehude, J.S. Bach, Franck, Vierne and Lemmens. The program was recently performed in Fairfield Bay, Ark., for the North Central Arkansas Foundation for the Arts and Education.

Kasten studies under Gary Miller, professor of music at the university. He also has studied organ with Carol McDaniel, formerly of Jackson. He is accompanist for the Opera Workshop and is organist at Grace United Methodist Church here and Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City.

The recital is given as a part of an ongoing series of programs celebrating the 10th anniversary of the installation of the church's Gress-Miles pipe organ.
