Southeast Missouri State University adjunct faculty member, Dr. Corliss McCallister, has been awarded a 1995 Alden B. Dow Creativity Center Fellowship.
Under terms of the fellowship, McCallister will spend the summer at Northwood University in Midland, Mich., working on a project.
McCallister is an educational psychologist specializing in creativity and has graduate training in neuroscience. This summer she will do further research on her proposed book to be titled "Growing Open."
While in Midland, she plans to conduct discussion groups to get feedback on the manuscript's strengths and weaknesses. She will also present workshops to the public to expand and clarify the ideas expressed in her proposed book.
McCallister is an adjunct professor in Southeast's human environmental studies department.
