UNIVERSITY CHAMBER PLAYERS TO PLAY AT OLD ST. VINCENT'S CHURCH DEC. 3

The Southeast Missouri State University Chamber Players will perform at 3 p.m. Dec. 3 at Old St. Vincent's Church.

The players are a group fo area professional musicians and music teachers. They recently were featured at the Missouri Music Educators Association Conference at Tan-Tar-A Resort.

The Dec. 3 concert will begin with an octet by Karl Reinecke, followed by suites composed by Carl Orff and Jean Francaix.

St. Louis composer Richard Ragsdale will be present for the premiere of his new work.

Admission is free. Financial support is provided by the Missouri Arts Council, the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri and the Southeast Missourian.
