UNITED WAY SEEKS AWARD NOMINEES

The Area Wide United Way and Ameritech are seeking nominations for the annual volunteer awards.

The ceremony will be held April 25. The deadline for completed nominations is Monday.

Volunteers will be judged in three categories: youth/young adult, 25 and under; adult, 26 to 59; and senior adult, 60 and older. A fourth category will recognize a group or organization.

Judging will be based on performing a vital volunteer job with an emphasis on 1994 volunteerism in a service to an organization or the community.

Nomination forms have been mailed to service clubs, organizations, churches and charitable agencies. Forms are available by calling the United Way at 334-9634.
