UNDERWRITERS HONOR DIEBOLD

Morrell C. Diebold has been honored as "Life Underwriter of the Year" by the Cape Girardeau Association of Life Underwriters.

Diebold, who has been involved in the insurance industry for 28 years, received the association's highest honor for outstanding contributions to the life and health insurance industry and to the community during a recent awards banquet.

Diebold has owned and operated his own agency at 1427 Thomas Drive for the past six years, specializing in insurance for senior citizens.

"I feel honored to receive this award," said Diebold. "They only give out one of these a year. There are several hundred people out there who are eligible."
