ELSBERRY -- Two eastern Missouri women were killed in a three-car accident Monday when one of the cars crossed the centerline and struck the other two.
Lisa Freeman, 34, of Winfield, and Amanda Hardin, 21, of Elsberry, died in the accident about 6:05 a.m. on Missouri 79, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
A northbound car driven by Freeman crossed the centerline and sideswiped a southbound car before colliding head-on with the southbound car driven by Hardin, the patrol said.
No one else was injured in the accident.
