Two Union County, Ill., residents have been indicted by a Union County grand jury on one count of unlawful criminal drug conspiracy, a Class I felony, according to a news release from the office of Tyler Edmonds, Union County state's attorney.

Ashley N. Wilkins, 28, of Anna, Ill., and Roger A. Rowan, 31, of Dongola, Ill., allegedly conspired with a third person to distribute heroin from a home at 115 Kohler St. in Anna between January and August of this year, the release said.

The two, arrested Oct. 18, are being held in the Jackson County Jail in Murphysboro on $150,000 bond each. The indictments follow an investigation by the Union County Sheriff's Office.

The release notes the charges are not evidence of guilt.
