TWO TO INTERNATIONAL YOUTH WIND ORCHESTRA

Michelle Marshall and Thomas Broussard, music majors at Southeast Missouri State University, have been selected for membership in the International Youth Wind Orchestra.

They were two of four American students selected by taped audition to participate in the group.

The ensemble will be comprised of 55 students from throughout the world and will rehearse and perform in Valencia, Spain, July 13-20 as part of the sixth international conference of the World Association of Symphonic Bands and Ensembles.

Marshall is a senior. She is a graduate of Jackson High School and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Marshall of Jackson.

Broussard is a junior. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Broussard of Fredericktown and a graduate of Fredericktown High School.

Both are members of the Southeast Symphonic Wind Ensemble.
