ORAN, Mo. -- Two Oran teens are in custody in connection to burglaries that happened overnight Tuesday.

Jesse S. Brown, 18, and Michael W. Williams, 18, both of Oran, are both charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of stealing and a count of first-degree property damage. Their arrests stem from burglaries at an Oran business and a building behind a home Tuesday night, according to a news release from the Scott County Sheriff's Department.

An Oran business was broken into either Tuesday night or early Wednesday, and a safe with an undetermined amount of money, a computer and a cooler were reported stolen, according to the release.

While sheriff's deputies and Oran police officers were investigating the burglary, the sheriff's office received another report of a building behind a home that had also been burgled. Several unnamed items were missing from the building, according to the release.

Brown and Williams' bond has been set at $20,000 each.
