Two Southeast Missouri State University students received scholarships at the university's College of Science and Technology honors program April 21.
Norman J. Heuring, Jr. of Oran received the William Avery and Helen Peyton Buckner Scholarship.
Renee Buchheit of Old Appleton received the TG (USA) Scholarship.
The Buckner Scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in one of the natural sciences. An eligible candidate must have declared a major in any field of science and hold a grade point average of at least 2.5. The scholarship is renewable.
The TG (USA) Scholarship is funded by TG (USA) in Perryville and is awarded to industrial technology majors who have completed at least 85 credit hours and have earned a grade point average of 3.2 or better.
