Members of the Cape Girardeau Fire Department use the jaws of life to remove two female passengers from an Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera, Tuesday morning, July 22, 2014. The vehicle was traveling in the left lane approaching exit 99 on Interstate 55 when it cut into a tractor trailer in the right lane, clipped the left front fender of the tractor trailer, then lost control and slid into a light pole. The two females were taken by Cape County Private Ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in critical condition.
