PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Two people face drug charges after an investigation by the Perry County Sheriff's Office.
On Tuesday, sheriff's deputies searched an apartment on St. Joseph Street in Perryville and found illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia, according to an email from the sheriff's office.
Nathan T. Oxley, 31, of Jackson is charged with three counts of felony distribution of a controlled substance for methamphetamine, Xanax and Valium, and one count of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, the email said. He is being held on $15,000 cash bond.
Denise D. McMahan, 35, was charged with unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. She was booked and released on a summons, the email said.
