Two Patton, Mo., residents suffered moderate injuries after hitting a deer Tuesday in Bollinger County evening. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 1994 Pontiac Firebird driven by 19-year-old Edward E. Cureton ran off the road and struck a ditch after hitting the animal two miles west of Marble Hill, Mo., on County Road 502. He and his passenger, 25-year-old Maria L. Cureton, were taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. They were not wearing seat belts.
