JACKSON -- Cape Girardeau County Sheriffs Deputies Tuesday arrested two area men on drug charges, bringing to 20 the total number of arrests resulting from Cape Girardeau County grand jury indictments.
Roger William Littleton, 26, of Route 4 Jackson was arrested at his home and charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance to a minor, a felony.
A Sheriffs department spokesman said the alleged offense involved the sale of marijuana to "a person under the age of 17, who is at least two years younger than the defendant."
He's being held at the Cape Girardeau County Jail in lieu of $7,500 bond.
Also, Donald Lee Williams, 21, of Route 2 Allenville, was arrested at his home and charged with two counts of delivery of Prazepam, a controlled substance. Prazepam is a nervous-system depressant.
Williams is being held at the Cape Girardeau County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond.
Littleton and Williams were indicted by a Cape Girardeau County grand jury, empaneled in December by Presiding Circuit Judge Stephen N. Limbaugh Jr. to investigate drug cases.
