Two Cape Girardeau County men were killed in separate weekend traffic accidents.
A Jackson man, Eugene M. Wade Sr., 63, died Friday night in a one-vehicle accident on E. Jackson Blvd. at Jackson.
Ronnie Humphries, 45, of Cape Girardeau suffered fatal injuries in a one-car accident on County Road 620, about three miles north of Cape Girardeau.
Both men were pronounced dead on the scene by Cape Girardeau County Coroner John E. Carpenter.
A spokesperson for the Jackson City Police Department said Wade was killed about 10:40 p.m. Friday when his vehicle ran off the roadway. The vehicle turned over on Wade, who had been ejected from the truck.
A spokesman for the Missouri Highway Patrol said Humphries died about 1:30 a.m. Saturday when his vehicle left the roadway and overturned several times, ejecting him from the car.
