KENNETT, Mo. — After a weeklong investigation, the Dunklin County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Kennett resident and a Conway, Ark. resident for theft of irrigation pivot parts and copper wire. Jimmy Lee Linley, 26, of Conway, and Frankie Wayne Pitts, 36, of Kennett, were charged with theft of $500 or more or less than $25,000 for taking copper wire and pivot parts without the consent of the owners...

KENNETT, Mo. — After a weeklong investigation, the Dunklin County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Kennett resident and a Conway, Ark. resident for theft of irrigation pivot parts and copper wire.

Jimmy Lee Linley, 26, of Conway, and Frankie Wayne Pitts, 36, of Kennett, were charged with theft of $500 or more or less than $25,000 for taking copper wire and pivot parts without the consent of the owners.

The arrests cleared theft reports on four copper wire pivot thefts.

Additional charges of property damage are expected to be filed as a result of damage to a John Deere cotton picker where the two men allegedly removed a radiator and an oil cooler.

Both men are being held in the Dunklin County Justice Center on $25,000 cash only bonds.
