Two Cape Girardeau men were arrested Friday after allegedly beating and sexually assaulting two other men, police said.
Arrested were: George C. Pongrass, 52, of 1015 Bloomfield Rd., Apt. 8; and Rusty L. Glasener, 35, of 1026 Bloomfield Rd.
According to the victims' testimony, they had gone to an apartment in south Cape Girardeau to watch television on Thursday, Cpl. Kevin Orr said. The victims, ages 45 and 47, were brothers, Orr said.
As one of the men went into the apartment's kitchen, one of the suspects began slapping him in the face repeatedly. Then he was struck by the suspect's fist in the face.
With the second suspect's assistance, the victim was thrown onto the kitchen floor and kicked in his ribs and legs.
The men then forced the victim to perform oral sex, Orr said.
At that point, the victim's brother attempted to intervene. He was also assaulted and forced into oral sex.
Both victims were taken to Southeast Hospital, where they were treated for broken bones and lacerations.
Pongrass was charged with two counts of first-degree assault, forcible sodomy, second-degree robbery and unlawful use of a weapon for threatening with a knife. Along with the felonies, he was charged with two misdemeanor counts of false imprisonment. His bond was set at $75,000.
