Two Cape Girardeau men were arrested Monday after a drive-by shooting, police reported Tuesday.
No one was injured in the shooting, police reported.
Joshua L. Faulkner Jr., 18, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, both class B felonies.
Damon M. Lee-Mathena, 18, was charged with aiding and abetting a person discharging or shooting a firearm from a motor vehicle, also a class B felony, for driving Faulkner to and from the scene of a shooting, Cape Girardeau police reported.
Darin Hickey, public information officer for the Cape Girardeau Police Department, said in an email officers responded to a shots fired call about 3:30 p.m. Monday in the 700 block of West Rodney Drive.
The victim told officers a passenger in a green truck shot toward him with a gun, striking the concrete in front of him, Hickey said.
Based on information from the victim, officers went to the 900 block of Good Hope Street, where they found a firearm and suspected marijuana, Hickey said.
They arrested Faulkner and Lee-Mathena, who were in jail Tuesday on $50,000 bond each.
